Project Tempest

Project Tempest is one of the oldest Atari Jaguar emulators and runs only on Windows. It made history as the first working Atari Jaguar emulator, a remarkable achievement at the time because the Jaguar is one of the more complicated systems to emulate.

Project Tempest made a lot of progress during its development and could run a large number of commercial Jaguar games, some with working sound. However, it needed what was then high-end hardware: a processor running at over 2 GHz to play games at full speed with sound.

Project Tempest has not been developed for many years. We recommend BigPEmu or Virtual Jaguar instead.
