Super Smash Bros is a fighting game developed for the Nintendo 64 by HAL Laboratory. The game is designed to be a crossover between an assortment of Nintendo’s different franchises. Such as The Legend of Zelda, Mario, Pokemon and also Donkey Kong.

The game situated the player on levels that are designed around a particular game in the various franchises. One level could be designed off the Donkey Kong concept, another off Yoshi’s Story. The game was different to many as instead of defeating your opponents life force,  you simply had to knock the opposing player off the map.
