What you need: Your own extracted, plaintext Valkyria Revolution PS4 game folder (`CUSA06810`) with `sce_sys/param.sfo`, `eboot.bin`, its modules and game data. 64-bit Linux and a Vulkan graphics card.

Valkyria Revolution PS4RT is an experimental, game-specific Linux runtime for the PlayStation 4's Valkyria Revolution, from HekamiAeon, who also made the Sakura Wars and Star Ocean PS4RT runtimes. It prepares and runs the game's original x86-64 code on the PC, supplies the PS4 services the game needs and draws with a Vulkan renderer derived from shadPS4. It is not a general PS4 emulator.

The tested opening sections play: the introduction, cinematics, subtitles, sound, menus, early combat, the first boss and saving and loading. It has not been played to the end. The release needs no compiling and bundles its own libraries.

The game renders at 1920x1080 inside, and output at 1440p or 4K is reconstructed with FSR 3.1 or an optional FSR 4, with sharpening, rather than drawn natively. The game's own frame rate is kept, and keyboard and controller buttons can be remapped. No game files or firmware are included, and the project is not affiliated with Sega, Sony or AMD.

## How to set it up

1. Download the Linux `.tar.gz` (not the source archive) and extract it.
2. Open a terminal in the extracted folder and run `bash Play-Game.sh --game "/path/to/CUSA06810"`, pointing at the CUSA06810 folder itself.
3. Later starts remember the folder, so `bash Play-Game.sh` is enough.
4. Change the resolution, FSR and sharpening in the game's graphics settings; they apply live.
