What you need: Your own decrypted dump of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for the PS4 (such as CUSA02320 or CUSA02343), the folder with eboot.bin, big2-ps4_Shipping.elf, big3-ps4_Shipping.elf, sce_sys, u1data, u2data and u3data. Windows 10 (1903 or newer) or 11, a Vulkan 1.3 graphics card and about 8 GB of free memory (RAM and page file).

Overview

High Frame RateDLSS SupportFrame GenerationMouse & Keyboard

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for Windows runs the PlayStation 4 versions of Drake’s Fortune, Among Thieves and Drake’s Deception as a native Windows program, all three from one launcher. The games’ own x86-64 code runs directly on the PC’s processor, a runtime replaces the console’s system libraries, and the graphics are translated to Vulkan by a renderer derived from shadPS4. It comes from the same author as Bloodborne for Windows and is built on bbport, deadinside28’s Linux port of Bloodborne.

The games run at 60 FPS as on the PS4 or at 120 FPS, with higher rates offered as experimental. Anti-aliasing can use TAA, AMD FSR 3.1, AMD FSR 4 or NVIDIA DLSS (DLAA), and frame generation is available through AMD FSR 3 on any graphics card or NVIDIA DLSS on GeForce RTX 40 and 50 cards. Keyboard, mouse and controller work together and can all be remapped, with mouse aiming in Uncharted 3. The launcher can add the collection to Steam or the desktop and updates the port while keeping saves and settings.

This is the first public build. In Uncharted 3, some characters can flash green or black for a single frame, a shader translation problem also seen in shadPS4. A crash at high frame rates in the Cartagena chapter was fixed for this release; setting the frame rate back to 60 avoids it if it returns. The download contains no game files and uses its own original artwork for the launcher covers. It needs the collection dumped from your own console.

How to Set It Up

  1. Download the zip and unpack it to a folder of its own.
  2. Start Uncharted.exe.
  3. On the Game page, choose your game folder (the one with eboot.bin).
  4. On the Play page, pick Drake’s Fortune, Among Thieves or Drake’s Deception and press PLAY. Later, Play Uncharted.exe starts the game straight away with your saved settings.

What's new in v0.3.12Uncharted for Windows 0.3.12

Freeze and crash fixes from your pull requests and from the other forks. Thanks to Jhojan Jiménez, FerManjarres, dbcalo, mato215, and to drakolordx7’s community build (fixes by Mevlock, Alex and iannitram).

Fixes

  • Game freezes at the start of some cutscenes (picture stops, sound keeps going), mostly in Uncharted 1 (#742, #759).
  • Crash fixes in the texture cache when a level loads new images (#742).
  • GeForce GTX 10-series cards crash at start (#400, #600): a GPU feature these cards can’t handle is now left off for them.
  • Intel graphics: Uncharted 3 chapter 2 no longer stops.
  • Uncharted 2 convoy: Elena’s truck no longer sinks into the road after bumps.
  • Uncharted 1 above 60 FPS: objects that should drop or tip over no longer hang in mid-air (the jet ski river barrels), and objects and bodies no longer settle too early.
  • Uncharted 1 and 3: flickering surfaces with DLSS, FSR, XeSS or TAA (U1 boat details, U3 London bar).
  • Cards under 8 GB no longer keep throwing out and reloading textures they still need (#753).
  • In-game menu: checkboxes and sliders change again (#623, same fix as #694).
  • Audio with a codec the port doesn’t know no longer closes the game.
  • Two more crash guards in the GPU command handling (from shadPS4).

For bug reports

  • A crash now also writes user/crash.dmp, and the log names the thread that crashed (#743). If you report a crash, the log is usually enough, but the dump helps with hard ones.
  • Game hooks get their memory before the GPU starts, so they can’t run out of room later (#743, #747).

Update: the launcher offers it when it starts, or unpack uncharted-windows.zip over your old folder. Saves and settings are kept.

⚠️ Never paste “fix commands” from GitHub issues, those are malware.
