- Developer: DiamondDogz
- Port type: Recompilation (A tool translated the game's original machine code into C automatically, which was then built as a native PC program.)
- Game: [Sakura Wars](https://emulationking.com/sony/ps4/games/sakurawars/index.md)
- AI use: AI-assisted. The project says: “The Windows launcher, its page, the install text, and the wiring around the existing runtime were written with Grok, by xAI, then checked against what the build actually does.”
- Source code: /opt/buildhome/repo/content/sony/ps4/games/sakurawars/ports/sakurawarsps4rtwindows/index.md
- Runs on: Windows

What you need: Your own extracted Sakura Wars PS4 game folder (`CUSA16429`), at version 01.01 or with your own 01.01 update PKG. Windows 10 or 11.

Sakura Wars PS4RT for Windows is DiamondDogz's Windows build of Sakura Wars PS4RT, HekamiAeon's runtime that runs the PS4's Sakura Wars from its own x86-64 code. It is built from the upstream v1.1 code with the changes needed to start it on Windows, plus a launcher, Kagekidan, and an extractor for update and DLC packages. The runtime is HekamiAeon's program, and the credit for it stays with HekamiAeon; the Linux original is listed here as Sakura Wars PS4RT.

The overlay has graphics presets from Max to Lowest, and an experimental build adds local trophies that send nothing anywhere. It has been tested on an NVIDIA RTX 3090 under Windows 11.

The publisher says the Windows launcher, its page and the wiring around the runtime were written with Grok, xAI's AI assistant. The game is not included, and the project is not affiliated with SEGA.

## How to set it up

1. Download the zip and extract it.
2. Run `Kagekidan.exe`. It isn't signed, so SmartScreen may warn; don't turn off Microsoft Defender.
3. Choose your extracted `CUSA16429` folder. If it is still 01.00, install your own 01.01 update PKG with the included extractor.
4. Start the game. In the game, Insert opens the overlay with the graphics presets.
