What you need: Your own extracted, plaintext Sakura Wars PS4 game folder (`CUSA16429`, with `sce_sys/param.sfo`, `eboot.bin` and `sce_module/`), at version 1.01 or with your own matching 1.01 update PKG. 64-bit Linux (tested on Fedora).

Sakura Wars PS4RT is an experimental, game-specific compatibility runtime that runs Sakura Wars, SEGA's 2019 PS4 game, on Linux. It prepares and runs the game's original x86-64 code on the PC, supplies its own versions of the PS4 services the game needs, and draws with a Vulkan renderer derived from shadPS4. It is not a general PS4 emulator or a recreation of the game, and it has been tested on Fedora.

No game files, firmware, PKGs, decryption keys or saves are supplied; it needs the player's own extracted game, version 1.01. The portable release includes its own update and DLC installer, and it doesn't download games or connect to PSN.

A Windows build of this runtime is published separately by DiamondDogz as Sakura Wars PS4RT for Windows, also listed here.

## How to set it up

1. Download the Linux `.tar.gz` (not the source archive) and extract it.
2. Open a terminal in the extracted folder and run `bash Play-Game.sh --game "/path/to/CUSA16429"`, pointing at the `CUSA16429` folder itself.
3. If your game is 1.00, the built-in installer applies your own 1.01 update PKG first; 1.01 is needed to play.
4. After the first setup the folder is remembered, so later starts need only `bash Play-Game.sh`.
