inFamous is an open-world action game developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3 in 2009. Bike courier Cole MacGrath survives an explosion that levels part of Empire City and finds he can control electricity.

Cole climbs buildings, grinds along power lines and fights with lightning bolts, shock grenades and other powers that he recharges from the city's power grid. Choices made during the story shift him towards hero or villain, which changes his powers and how the citizens react to him.
