ProjectCane is a native PC port of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus for Windows. It began as a map viewer for the game’s levels and grew into a reimplementation that plays the whole game from the original data extracted from your disc, with its shaders built into the executable.

The author says the full game is playable, with work continuing on bug fixes, compatibility and a Linux version. The latest release fixes objects and minigames, improves the sound system, adds separate volume sliders for dialogue and sound effects and restores the original cheat codes; files extracted for older versions must be extracted again.

The download contains no game data. It needs Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (NTSC-U), dumped from your own disc.

How to set it up

1. Download the .rar and extract it with 7-Zip or WinRAR.
2. Drag your ISO onto File Extractor.exe and wait for the extraction to finish completely.
3. Keep Sly1-Release.exe in the same folder as the extracted game files.
4. Run Sly1-Release.exe to play. After updating, extract the game files again.
