Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus

Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus is a stealth platformer developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony for the PlayStation 2 in 2002. Sly Cooper, a raccoon from a long line of master thieves, sets out with his friends Bentley and Murray to recover the pages of the Thievius Raccoonus, his family’s book of techniques, from the Fiendish Five who stole it.

Its cel-shaded look and sneaking-based platforming set it apart, and it was released as Sly Raccoon in Europe. Two sequels followed on the PS2, and the three games were remastered for the PS3 as The Sly Collection.
