MikuPan

What you need: The files `IMG_HD.BIN` and `IMG_BD.BIN` from Fatal Frame (USA) or Project Zero (Europe), copied from your own disc; the Japanese version does not work.

MikuPan is a native PC port of Fatal Frame for Windows, Linux and macOS, built from a decompilation of the PlayStation 2 game rather than through emulation. Its menus have German, Spanish, French and Italian translations.

The authors describe it as very early work. Builds come from a single nightly pre-release that is updated as the code changes, and macOS is not officially supported, though contributors have run it on Apple Silicon.

The download contains no game data. It needs the IMG_HD.BIN and IMG_BD.BIN files from Fatal Frame (USA) or Project Zero (Europe), copied from your own disc.

How to set it up

1. Download the zip for your system: Windows, Linux or macOS.
2. Extract it.
3. Copy IMG_HD.BIN and IMG_BD.BIN from your disc into the folder that holds the MikuPan executable.
4. Run MikuPan (MikuPan.exe on Windows).
