Wipeout2K97XL
What you need: A disc image of Wipeout XL (USA, SCUS-94351) as a .cue with all 12 .bin tracks, dumped from your own copy.
Wipeout2K97XL is a native port of Wipeout XL for Windows, made by static recompilation with PSXRecomp. The download is a setup kit, not a prebuilt game: the game code is generated and compiled on your PC from your own disc on first run.
It emulates the NeGcon controller and adds a configurable dual-stick layout with analog steering and trigger acceleration, keyboard controls, optional 16:9, longer scenery and ship draw distance, and CRT effects, all off by default.
This is an initial preview (v0.1.0); experimental Linux and macOS builds exist as a separate pre-release with unverified gameplay. The download contains no game data. It needs Wipeout XL (USA, SCUS-94351), dumped from your own disc.
