Tekken1Recomp

What you need: Tekken (USA) as a cue/bin disc image, dumped from your own disc.

Tekken1Recomp is a native port of Tekken for Windows, made by static recompilation with PSXRecomp. OpenBIOS is bundled, so no BIOS is needed.

It renders at higher resolutions with 2x supersampling and saves to memory cards. It fixes a problem where CD audio music stuttered and repeated because the game keeps resending the play command, and it reports the game’s real frame rate. The latest version fixes crashes and adds an untested netplay option.

The author says several stages can be played to the end. The download contains no game data. It needs Tekken (USA), dumped from your own disc.

How to set it up

1. Download the Windows zip and extract it.
2. Put your Tekken (USA) .cue and .bin files in the extracted Release folder.
3. Open game.toml and set the path under [disc] to your .cue file name.
4. Run Tekken1Recomp.exe.
