Overview
Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha Recomp is a native port of Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha for Windows, made by static recompilation with the PSXRecomp framework and dedicated to the North American release (SLUS-00548).
The author reports gameplay validated at 60 fps with the software renderer in baseline tests; an OpenGL renderer is also available. The latest release is an unlabelled zip of the Windows build folder.
It is an alpha. It runs the retail SCPH-1001 BIOS, so a BIOS dump from your own console is needed. The download contains no game data. It needs Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha (USA, SLUS-00548), dumped from your own disc.
How to Set It Up
- Download
alphaBuildClean.zipand extract it. - Run
StreetFighterEXPlusAlphaRecomp.exe. - When asked, select your SCPH-1001 BIOS dump (
SCPH1001.BIN, 512 KB) from your own console. - Then select your USA disc image and start the game.
