Spyro the Dragon is a 3D platform game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation in 1998. When Gnasty Gnorc traps the dragons of the Dragon Worlds in crystal, the young Spyro sets out across six homeworlds to free them.

Spyro charges and breathes fire to defeat enemies, glides between platforms and collects gems stolen by Gnasty’s army. The game started a series that continued with Ripto’s Rage and Year of the Dragon.

A PSXRecomp build kit by Alexbeav compiles a native version of Spyro the Dragon for Windows, Linux and macOS from your own disc.
