About the Game

The Simpsons Wrestling is a wrestling game developed by Big Ape Productions and published by Activision and Fox Interactive for the PlayStation in 2001. Characters from the TV series, including Homer, Bart, Marge, Lisa, Mr. Burns and Moe, fight one another in arenas around Springfield, with the voices of the show’s cast.

Matches are short brawls in which each character has their own moves and taunts, played alone against the computer or against a second player. Critics disliked its shallow fighting and loose controls, and it is often listed among the worst Simpsons games, but it has kept a following for its novelty.

A native PC port made by static recompilation runs the North American release on Windows and Linux.
