What you need: Sexy Parodius (Japan, SLPM-86009) as a Redump-style cue/bin disc image, dumped from your own disc.

Sexy Parodius Recompiled is a native port of Sexy Parodius for Windows, Linux and macOS, made by static recompilation with PSXRecomp. The download is a build kit: it generates the game code from your disc and compiles it on your PC, which can take several minutes.

OpenBIOS is used by default. The game is locked to the original digital pad, common controllers are detected automatically, and two optional CRT display profiles imitate a JVC consumer set and a Sony Trinitron.

On Windows it has been tested to the title screen and attract-mode gameplay; the Linux and macOS kits are built and checked but not tested in play. It comes from the R.A.I.D. community for AI-assisted reverse engineering. The download contains no game data. It needs Sexy Parodius (Japan), dumped from your own disc.

How to set it up

  1. Download the zip for your system and extract it to a writable folder.
  2. Run Sexy_Parodius_Recompiled (Sexy_Parodius_Recompiled.exe on Windows) and select your .cue file.
  3. Choose Generate and Rebuild. The first run compiles the game on your PC and can take several minutes. On Windows the setup can download the build tools it needs; on Linux and macOS install CMake, Ninja, Python 3 and a C compiler first.
  4. Start the built game from the launcher.
