RayStorm
Released: 1996
Console: PlayStation
Developer: Taito

RayStorm is a vertical shoot ’em up developed by Taito, released in arcades in 1996 and ported to the PlayStation the same year in Japan and in 1997 in North America. It is the second game in the Ray series.

Its polygon graphics let the camera swing around the action, and its lock-on laser can target several enemies on the layer below the ship at once. The PlayStation version adds an Extra mode with a second ship.

RayStorm has a native PC port made by static recompilation.
