Omega Boost Recomp is a native port of Omega Boost for Windows and Linux, made by static recompilation with mstan's PSXRecomp and the recomp-ui launcher. It targets the USA release (SCUS-94449) and is one of a batch of PlayStation recompilations omegakatana92 published in September 2026.

The launcher selects the disc and settings, and the open-source OpenBIOS is built in, so no BIOS dump is needed; a retail BIOS can be chosen instead. The PSXRecomp runtime also offers optional enhancements such as faster loading and PGXP geometry correction.

The README describes it as complete and playable, which has not been independently confirmed. The download contains no game data. It needs Omega Boost (USA, SCUS-94449), dumped from your own disc.

## How to set it up

1. Download the Windows zip or the Linux AppImage.
2. Extract the zip and run `Omega_Boost_Recompiled.exe`; on Linux, make the AppImage executable and run it.
3. In the launcher, select your disc image; a `.cue` with its `.bin` tracks beside it is preferred.
4. Keep the built-in OpenBIOS selected, or browse to a BIOS dump from your own console, then start the game.
