Mega Man X5 is a side-scrolling action game developed and published by Capcom for the PlayStation, released in Japan in 2000 and in the West in 2001.

A space colony is on course to crash into Earth and a virus is spreading, and X and Zero have a limited number of hours to stop it, so the order of stages and the choices made shape the ending. It was meant to end the X series and has several endings.

Mega Man X5 has a native PC port made by static recompilation.
