Macross Do You Remember Love Recomp

What you need: A disc image of Macross: Do You Remember Love? (Japan, SLPS-02005/02006), both discs, dumped from your own copy, as .cue/.bin.

Macross Do You Remember Love Recomp is a native port of Macross: Do You Remember Love? for Windows, made by static recompilation with mstan’s PSXRecomp and the recomp-ui launcher. It targets the Japan release (SLPS-02005/02006) and is one of a batch of PlayStation recompilations omegakatana92 published in September 2026.

The launcher selects the disc and settings, and the open-source OpenBIOS is built in, so no BIOS dump is needed; a retail BIOS can be chosen instead. The PSXRecomp runtime also offers optional enhancements such as faster loading and PGXP geometry correction.

The README calls it a work in progress: the two discs boot different programs, and switching to disc 2 has not been made to work yet. The download contains no game data. It needs Macross: Do You Remember Love? (Japan, SLPS-02005/02006), both discs, dumped from your own disc.

How to set it up

1. Download the Windows zip.
2. Extract the zip (it holds the author’s whole build folder) and run MacrossDoYouRememberLove_Recompiled.exe inside it.
3. In the launcher, select your disc image; a .cue with its .bin tracks beside it is preferred.
4. Keep the built-in OpenBIOS selected, or browse to a BIOS dump from your own console, then start the game.
