ReChan

What you need: A disc image of Jackie Chan Stuntmaster (USA, SLUS-00684) as .bin or .iso, dumped from your own copy.

ReChan is a native Windows and Linux version of Jackie Chan Stuntmaster, made by reverse engineering the game and reimplementing its logic, systems and data formats rather than emulating or recompiling it.

It adds keyboard and mouse controls, Hor+ widescreen, higher rendering resolutions and other PC settings. The release package includes new textures, fonts and text made for the project, and the latest release fixes crashes, collectible and enemy bugs and adds level intro overlays.

On first launch ReChan verifies your disc and extracts the assets it needs with its built-in extractor. The download contains no game data. It needs Jackie Chan Stuntmaster (USA, SLUS-00684), dumped from your own disc.

How to set it up

1. Download the Windows zip or the Linux archive and extract it.
2. Make a discimage folder beside rechan.exe (rechan on Linux) and put your disc image in it; the file name does not matter.
3. Run ReChan. On first launch it checks the disc version and extracts the files it needs.
4. After the files are extracted, the disc image folder can be deleted.
