Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout Recompiled
What you need: A disc image of Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout (USA, SLUS-00493), dumped from your own copy.
Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout Recompiled is a native port of Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout for Windows, made by static recompilation with PSXRecomp and recomp-ui. The download is a setup kit: the game code is generated and compiled from your own disc on first run, which can take several minutes.
It includes a launcher with mod support and rendering settings: a software renderer as the reference, an experimental Vulkan option, optional 16:9 or adaptive widescreen, a PGXP build and local or direct-IP netplay. The latest release fixes a hang in combat transitions.
It is an early release (v0.1). The download contains no game data. It needs Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout (USA, SLUS-00493), dumped from your own disc.
How to set it up
- Download the zip for your system (Windows) and extract all of it to a folder you can write to.
- Run
DBFinalBout_Recompiled.exe. - Select your disc’s
.cuefile in the launcher and keep OpenBIOS selected, or point it at a BIOS dump from your own console. - Choose Generate & Build (Generate & rebuild): the first run turns your disc into native code and compiles it, which takes several minutes and may download a compiler toolchain. Later launches go straight to the game.
- Keep widescreen off for the original 4:3 picture, or enable it on the Mods page.
