Dance Dance Revolution
Dance Dance Revolution is a music game by Konami. The first version came to Japanese arcades in 1998, and this PlayStation version followed in Japan in 1999. Players step on four arrow panels in time with arrows scrolling up the screen, with a dance mat or a controller.
The PlayStation release adds songs and modes that the arcade game did not have, including a workout mode that counts calories. The series became one of Konami’s best-known music games.
A native PC port made by static recompilation is available as a build kit.
