Released: 1997
Console: PlayStation
Developer: Naughty Dog

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back is a platform game developed by Naughty Dog and released in 1997. Dr. Neo Cortex claims to need Crash’s help to save the world and sends him out to collect crystals, while Crash’s sister Coco and Cortex’s old assistant N. Brio have their own ideas.

Levels are reached from warp rooms, so they can be played in any order within each room. Crash gains a slide and a body slam, rides a polar bear cub and flies a jetpack, and hidden paths and gems reward repeat play.
