Crash Bandicoot Recomp
What you need: A disc image of Crash Bandicoot (USA, SCUS-94900), dumped from your own copy, as .cue/.bin.
Crash Bandicoot Recomp is a native port of Crash Bandicoot for Windows, made by static recompilation with mstan’s PSXRecomp. It targets the USA release (SCUS-94900) and is one of a batch of PlayStation recompilations omegakatana92 published in September 2026.
A small Windows launcher picks the disc image and the BIOS and remembers the choices. The open-source OpenBIOS is included, so no BIOS dump is needed; a retail BIOS can be chosen instead. The PSXRecomp runtime offers optional enhancements such as faster loading and PGXP geometry correction, and the game runs full screen with keyboard controls.
The README calls it a work in progress and does not claim it is finished or fully playable, and there are no independent reports of how far it runs. The download contains no game data. It needs Crash Bandicoot (USA, SCUS-94900), dumped from your own disc.
