Bloody Roar II Recompiled
What you need: Bloody Roar II (Europe SLES-01722 or USA SCUS-94424) as a .cue/.bin, .iso or .chd disc image, dumped from your own copy.
Bloody Roar II Recompiled is a native port of Bloody Roar II for Windows and Linux. The game’s MIPS code is statically recompiled to C with the PSXRecomp framework, and one executable holds the European and US versions, choosing the right one from the disc; Japanese support is experimental.
Optional mods add real widescreen that widens the fight camera, an intro skip, an unlock-all option, a turbo mode, faster loading and PGXP precision. Two players can also fight online through the launcher’s netplay lobby.
The current release is a release candidate. The download contains no game data. It needs Bloody Roar II (Europe or USA), dumped from your own disc.
How to set it up
- Download the zip for your system and extract it anywhere.
- Run
BloodyRoar2_Recompiled.exeon Windows, or./BloodyRoar2_Recompiledon Linux afterchmod +x. - Choose your disc image when the launcher asks; it remembers it and picks the region from the disc.
- Optional mods such as widescreen are on the launcher’s Mods tab. OpenBIOS is used unless
SCPH-1001.BINis next to the program.
