Air Combat
Air Combat is a combat flight game developed by Namco, released in Japan as Ace Combat in 1995 and in the West the same year. It is based on Namco’s arcade game of the same name.
The player is a mercenary pilot who earns money from missions to buy new aircraft and hire wingmen. Its fast, arcade-style flying made it one of the early PlayStation’s better-known games and started the Ace Combat series.
Air Combat has a native PC port made by static recompilation.
