PSXeven is a freeware PSX emulator for Windows by Xeven. Although development was short-lived, releases came out rapidly, and it was seen as a very promising emulator.

The last few versions focused on improving accuracy and stability while keeping the interpreter core fast enough for most computers.

PSXeven is known for its simple, easy-to-use interface. It also has two built-in tools that other PSX emulators usually leave to separate programs: a memory card manager and a game image compression tool. Like most PSX emulators, it is plugin-based and can use the same plugins as ePSXe and PCSX-Reloaded.

Development ended before PSXeven could mature like its competitors ePSXe and PCSX-Reloaded, and the source code was never released, so it joins a long line of short-lived PlayStation emulators.

Note: PSXeven requires a PSX BIOS dumped from your own console.
