- Supported systems: PS1
- Runs on: Windows

pSX is one of the lesser-known PlayStation emulators. It claims to fully emulate the PlayStation, although how accurately it runs games in practice is open to question.

The original pSX website is no longer online, so there is little information available about the emulator.

It includes an R3000 debugger for those interested in the inner workings of the PlayStation or in translating games.

Compatibility is still decent. pSX is not as developed as ePSXe or PCSX-Reloaded, but it is worth trying if you have problems with other emulators.

Note: you will need a PS1 BIOS dumped from your own console. It should be named SCPH1001.bin and placed in the emulator's bios folder.
