Sonic Blast
Sonic Blast was developed by Aspect and released by Sega for the Game Gear in 1996. Sonic and Knuckles race through five zones to collect the Chaos Emeralds before Dr. Robotnik can use them, and each character has his own moves.
Its large sprites were pre-rendered from 3D models, in the style of Donkey Kong Country, which made it one of the most striking Game Gear games, though the big characters left little room to see ahead. It was among the last Game Gear releases.
An early static recompilation runs the Game Gear game natively.
