Sonic Adventure
Sonic Adventure is a 3D platformer developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Dreamcast, released in Japan in 1998 and in the West in 1999. It was the first main-series Sonic game in full 3D and one of the Dreamcast’s best-known games.
Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big and E-102 Gamma each have their own story and style of play, from high-speed action stages to treasure hunting and fishing, and their stories lead to a final chapter against Chaos and Dr. Eggman. Hub areas such as Station Square link the stages, and Chao can be raised in the Chao Gardens. An expanded version, Sonic Adventure DX, followed on the GameCube and PC in 2003.
Sonic Adventure Recompiled, a native PC port of the Dreamcast version made by static recompilation, is available.
