What you need: A ROM of Knuckles' Chaotix (Japan, USA) for the 32X, dumped from your own cartridge. No BIOS is needed.

Chaotix Recompiled is a native Windows and Android port of Knuckles’ Chaotix, the 1995 32X platformer, made by YuutaTsubasa by statically recompiling the game’s SH-2 and 68000 code, with the 32X and Mega Drive video and sound hardware reproduced around it.
It adds true widescreen, a time attack mode and achievements. The game is playable; the project is still at version 0.3 and changes quickly, and the Android APK is signed with a debug key. The project’s own legal notes say that distributing recompiled code is not settled law.
The download contains no game data. It needs Knuckles’ Chaotix (Japan, USA), dumped from your own cartridge.
How to set it up
- Download the Windows zip and extract it, or install the Android APK.
- Start the game. On first launch a setup page asks for your Knuckles’ Chaotix ROM.
- The setup page checks the ROM and copies it into the app folder.
- Change widescreen and the other options from the in-game menu.
