ParaJVE

ParaJVE (Parabellum’s Java Vectrex Emulator) is a Vectrex emulator written in Java by Franck Chevassu. It focuses on recreating how the Vectrex looked, drawing the vector screen with its glow and showing the colour overlays for each game.

It emulates the Motorola 6809 processor, the AY-3-8912 sound chip and the vector display, and supports the 3D Imager glasses. Since the Vectrex games can be shared freely for non-commercial use, it comes with the Vectrex BIOS and a large collection of official games, so it is ready to play straight away.

The latest version is 0.7.0, released on 29 December 2010, and the emulator has not been updated since. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux with Java installed. ParaJVE is freeware. The official downloads cannot currently be tracked automatically, so this page has no download archive yet. Get it from the official ParaJVE website.
