O2EM

O2EM is an emulator for the Magnavox Odyssey², also known as the Philips Videopac G7000. It was started by Daniel Boris in the 1990s and later maintained by André de la Rocha and other contributors, and it also has partial support for the Videopac+ G7400.

It runs most of the Odyssey² library, including the keyboard, both joysticks, the voice module used by some games and the Chess module. It needs a copy of the console’s BIOS, and it has options for save states, screenshots and scanline effects.

O2EM is no longer developed: its last release, version 1.18, came out in 2007. The official download is for Windows, and the source code can be built on Linux and other systems. It is open source under the Artistic License. A libretro core based on it is available for RetroArch, while MAME now offers more accurate emulation of the system.
