jzIntv

jzIntv is an Intellivision emulator written by Joe Zbiciak, who started it in the late 1990s. It is the reference emulator for the Intellivision and is used by homebrew developers to test new games.

Besides the base console, it emulates the Intellivoice speech module and the Entertainment Computer System (ECS), and supports the JLP and other cartridge formats used by modern homebrew. It comes with SDK-1600, a set of tools including the as1600 assembler and a debugger, for writing new Intellivision games. You need the Exec and Graphics ROMs from the original console to run it.

The current stable development build is dated 12 July 2020 and has SDL2 and SDL1 builds for Windows, macOS, Linux and the Raspberry Pi. The source code is available and it is free to use.
