WinAPE

WinAPE, the Windows Amstrad Plus Emulator, is an Amstrad CPC emulator by Richard Wilson. It emulates the CPC 464, 664 and 6128, the 464 Plus and 6128 Plus and the GX4000 console, along with many expansions such as extra RAM, the Multiface II and sound and storage add-ons.

It is especially popular with CPC developers and the demo scene, thanks to its accurate emulation of the CRTC and Plus hardware, its built-in Z80 assembler and its debugger with breakpoints and memory views. It supports disk, tape and cartridge images and snapshots.

WinAPE runs on Windows and is freeware, but it is not open source. It has not been updated for several years, and the latest version is a 2.0 beta. The official downloads cannot currently be tracked automatically, so this page has no download archive yet. You can get WinAPE from the official WinAPE website.
