Overview
panda_venom’s pack upscales most of Metroid: Other M’s textures with chaiNNer, using the 4xHDCube4plus and Lollypop models among others. Textures were pulled from the game with Venomalia’s TextureExtraction Tool, then touched up in GIMP and batch-converted with XnConvert.
It is roughly 90% done, with some background textures not yet covered. Everything is stored as BC7-compressed DDS for the best quality the format allows.
How to Set It Up
- In Dolphin, open File > Open User Folder, then go into
Load/Textures/. - Extract the download there, so you end up with a
Load/Textures/R3O/folder. - Open Graphics > Advanced and tick Load Custom Textures. Ticking Prefetch Custom Textures too stops stutter, if you have the RAM for it.
