Bayonetta 2 is an action game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Nintendo, released for the Wii U in 2014 and for the Nintendo Switch in 2018. It follows Bayonetta, an Umbra Witch, who travels to the town of Noatun and into Inferno to rescue her friend Jeanne's soul.

Like the first game, it scores the player on combos, dodges that trigger the slow-motion Witch Time, and Climax attacks that summon demons from Bayonetta's hair. It added Umbran Climax, a meter that powers up every attack, and Tag Climax, a two-player co-op mode. The Switch release added touch controls and came with the first Bayonetta.

A native Windows port of the Switch version, built from the player's own dump, is available.
