Gumshoe

Gumshoe is a light-gun game developed and published by Nintendo for the NES, released in North America in 1986. The detective Mr. Stevenson walks through side-scrolling stages to gather diamonds and rescue his kidnapped daughter.

The player shoots him with the Zapper to make him jump, and shoots the enemies, obstacles and balloons in his path.

A native PC port exists: GumshoeNESRecomp, a static recompilation by mstan that uses the mouse as the Zapper.
