Adventure Island II
Adventure Island II is a platform game published by Hudson Soft for the NES in 1991. Master Higgins crosses eight islands to rescue his girlfriend Tina from an alien, eating fruit to keep his energy from running out.
Eggs hold weapons and dinosaur friends that Higgins can ride, and they can be stored on the map screen between stages.
A native PC port exists: a fully static recompilation by Junior-Jones.
