Metroid Prime Hunters Recomp is a native Windows and Linux port of Metroid Prime Hunters for the Nintendo DS, made by mstan by statically recompiling the game’s ARM code into C, with the DS hardware reproduced around it.

It adds online multiplayer through Wiimmfi, widescreen, Metroid Prime style controls with mouse aim, and an HD rendering mod. It is a public alpha, released often.

The author says AI tools were used heavily in making it.

How to set it up

1. Download the Windows zip or the Linux AppImage and extract or unpack it.
2. Put your Metroid Prime Hunters .nds file next to the executable.
3. Run the program. It uses a built-in free BIOS, so no BIOS dump is needed.
4. Set up the Prime-style controls, widescreen and online play from the settings.
