raphnetraw

raphnetraw is an input plugin by raphnet, the maker of USB adapters for original N64 and GameCube controllers. Instead of treating the adapter as a generic gamepad, the plugin passes the emulator’s controller commands straight through to the real controller.

That means an original N64 controller works with no calibration and little latency, and accessories plugged into it work as they did on the console: a real Rumble Pak rumbles, and a real Controller Pak can be read and written by games.

It only works with raphnet’s N64 adapters and does nothing for other controllers.

Which download to pick

There are separate builds for Project64 (1.6 and 2.x) and for Mupen64Plus on Windows. For Linux, the Mupen64Plus download is the source code, which builds with the usual Mupen64Plus plugin tools.
