Overview
Octomino SDL Input is an input plugin for Project64 1.6 and later, Project64 Legacy and other emulators that use Zilmar’s plugin interface. It uses SDL2’s GameController API, so most modern gamepads, including Xbox, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Switch Pro controllers, are recognised and mapped automatically.
The plugin was started by clickdevin. The fork offered here, by wermi, adds a configuration window, button rebinding, adjustable settings and an updated controller database.
It is a simpler choice than NRage when all you want is a gamepad that works. It does not emulate the Transfer Pak.
Getting started
Extract the zip and copy octomino-sdl-input.dll and gamecontrollerdb.txt into Project64’s Plugin\Input folder, then select it as the input plugin in the emulator’s settings.
