What you need: A ROM of Wave Race 64 (USA) (Rev 1), dumped from your own copy of the game.

RaceWave46 is a fan-made Windows port of Wave Race 64, made with N64: Recompiled and drawn with RT64. It keeps the original championship, time trials, stunt mode, two-player races and Dolphin Park.

It adds resolution multipliers, widescreen and ultrawide, frame-rate options with interpolation, anti-aliasing, a wider field of view, longer draw distances, and optional rasterized or ray-traced water reflections and shadows. Local multiplayer is expanded beyond the original two players. The author says AI tools were used heavily in making it.
