Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire is an action game developed by LucasArts and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 in 1996. Set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, it follows the mercenary Dash Rendar as he helps Luke Skywalker against the crime lord Prince Xizor.
Its ten levels mix on-foot third-person shooting, the snowspeeder battle of Hoth, a speeder-bike chase and space combat in Dash’s ship, the Outrider.
A native Windows port made with N64Recomp plays the game in widescreen with modern controls.
