Pokémon Snap
Pokémon Snap is a photography game developed by HAL Laboratory and Pokémon Ltd. and released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. Todd Snap rides an automatic vehicle along set routes around Pokémon Island and photographs the Pokémon living there.
Professor Oak scores each photo on the Pokémon’s size, pose and position in the frame. Items such as apples and Pester Balls draw Pokémon out or make them react. In Japan and later elsewhere, photos could be printed at Snap Station kiosks.
A native PC port made with N64: Recompiled plays the game with widescreen and high frame rates as options.
