Mega Man 64: Recompiled
What you need: A ROM of Mega Man 64 (USA), dumped from your own cartridge.
Mega Man 64: Recompiled is a native port of Mega Man 64 for Windows, Linux and macOS, made by static recompilation with N64Recomp and drawn with RT64. There are Linux builds for x64 and ARM64 and a Flatpak.
It runs at high frame rates through interpolation and has a widescreen mode. The latest release fixes a crash in the Gesellschaft fight, terrain and cloud interpolation glitches and slowdown from a fireball effect, and more enhancements are planned.
The release notes call it a work in progress: widescreen is not complete, and level geometry seams, cutscene desync and some particle interpolation issues remain. The download contains no game data. It needs Mega Man 64 (USA), dumped from your own cartridge.
