F-Zero X
F-Zero X is a futuristic racing game developed by Nintendo EAD and released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998. Thirty machines race at once on tracks with loops, tubes and pipes, and a boost uses up some of the machine’s energy.
It has grand prix cups, time attack, a death race mode and four-player split screen, and the X Cup generates new tracks at random. The F-Zero X Expansion Kit for the 64DD, released in Japan in 2000, added a course editor, a machine creator and new cups.
A native PC port built from the decompilation plays the game in widescreen with the Expansion Kit included.
