Chameleon Twist: Recompiled

What you need: A ROM of Chameleon Twist (Japan), dumped from your own cartridge. Only the Japanese release is accepted.

Chameleon Twist: Recompiled is a native Windows port of Chameleon Twist, made by static recompilation with N64Recomp and drawn with RT64. It uses headers and functions from the Chameleon Twist decompilation for its enhancements.

It runs at your display’s refresh rate, supports widescreen and ultrawide, and has in-game menus for graphics, sound, controls and gameplay that work with mouse, keyboard or controller.

The only release so far is an early first version, for Windows only. The download contains no game data. It needs the Japanese release of Chameleon Twist, dumped from your own cartridge.

How to set it up

1. Download ChameleonTwistJPRecompiled.zip and extract it.
2. Run ChameleonTwistJPRecompiled.exe.
3. Select your ROM in the launcher. Dumps in formats other than .z64 are converted automatically.
