About the Game

Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness was developed by Konami for the Nintendo 64 and released in 1999. It is both a prequel to and an expanded version of Castlevania 64.

As well as a new story, it includes an enhanced version of its predecessor’s campaign, with improved graphics, new characters and alternative versions of levels.

The game aims to give the player a sense of loneliness, isolation and mystery in some of its levels, such as the Villa.
